Elastix Corporation, a Global company from Silicon Valley, is the first company of the Landing Program that lands in 22@Barcelona district

Yesterday morning, took place the presentation of the first company of the Landing Program that lands in the 22@Barcelona district: Elastix Corporation. The company is set up by North Americans and Europeans entrepreneurial teams, and it has its own headquarters in the Silicon Valley (California).

Elastix Corporation
Elastix Corporation is a privately-held Electronic Design Automation (EDA) company. Its mission is to provide design tools that can deliver IC designs. The tools are consuming lowest power while they are delivering the best performance.

The potential customers of the Elastix solutions represent a globally diverse set of leading semiconductor manufacturers, that include American (Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments), European (ST Microelectronics, NXP, Infineon, ARM) and Asian companies (Panasonic, Samsung, Renesas, Canon).

Landing Program
Landing Program tries to promote mechanisms related to the growth and the internationalization of the Catalan and Spanish companies. At the same time the program aims to attract foreign technology based companies and locate them in Catalonia, in particular, in the innovation district.

According to Mr. Josep Miquel Piqué, counselor delegated of 22@Barcelona, Elastix Corporation possesses four key elements which are: "talent, a team of entrepreneurial, global markets and funding.
